For
my own wedding last year I had large cream shabby chic candelabras for
my centrepieces, wrapped beautifully with paper rose garlands, they did
look gorgeous. I actually went quite traditional with these, as over
the years of me planning from changing my mind several times with theme,
venue, food, these candelabras were the only thing that didn’t change I
always loved them.
That
is the ‘norm’ to go with centrepieces that are repeated on each table
to each look an exact copy of each other, which obviously can lovely.
Recently though there has been a trend to create a different centrepiece
per table, and to be honest I am very jealous that I didn’t think of it
for my own wedding :D
My
idea now would be to make a collection in the middle of the tables of
beautiful items that reflect you and your partner, Items from home can
be used as well as well as beautiful items collected from friends and
family. They can be items from friends and family, or items just to reflect the vintage theme. Here are few ideas that I have seen on Pinterest
I just love how they are so individual and can be made by you, then given to your wedding planner to arrange.
My Husband and I had each table named after a place that we had visited together, we could of easily incorporated this into the centerpiece, perhaps with photos of us at the place or we could have a memento that we had bought back.
I think these centrepeices really can work, especially if you are wanting to add a real personal touch to your day.

P.S If anyone does want cream candelabras- never fear, mine are for hire :)
